Anti-Coli O 1 is a monospecific test reagent for the serological detection and serovar determination of isolated E.coli strains from human test material or other origin. Method: Slide agglutination and Widal reaction. If the isolated strain has E.coli antigen, within the range of the testing reagent, antigen-antibody reaction results in a visible agglutination. A negative result is reported in the absence of agglutination. Range: Е.coli O 1 Composition: A mixture of monoclonal antibodies derived from the supernatant of the culture medium of hybridoma cell lines secreting antibodies against the group specific E.coli antigen. Anti-Coli O 1 is relevant to veterinary medicine in E.coli diagnostics in young poultry.
