Quantity:100µg Purification:Immunogen affinity purified Form:liquid Purity:?95% as determined by SDS-PAGE Host:Rabbit Clonality:polyclonal Clone ID: Isotype:IgG Storage:PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3 , -20? for 12 months (Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.) Background:This gene encodes a member of the NAD-dependent glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase family. The encoded protein plays a critical role in carbohydrate and lipid metabolism by catalyzing the reversible conversion of dihydroxyacetone phosphate (DHAP) and reduced nicotine adenine dinucleotide (NADH) to glycerol-3-phosphate (G3P) and NAD+. The encoded cytosolic protein and mitochondrial glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase also form a glycerol phosphate shuttle that facilitates the transfer of reducing equivalents from the cytosol to mitochondria. Mutations in this gene are a cause of transient infantile hypertriglyceridemia. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding mµLtiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. Immunogen:glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase 1 (soluble) Synonyms:GPD-C Observed MW:38 kDa Uniprot ID:P21695 Reactivity:, Mouse, Rat Tested Application:ELISA, WB, IHC Recommended dilution:WB: 1:500 - 1:2000; IHC: 1:50 - 1:200 Gene ID:2819 Research Area:CardiovascµLar, Metabolism
